Hey everyone xx Really need to ask this! If you are taking Keppra or with your epilepsy in general do you find that you have some kind of extra energy, find it difficult to relax. Oh and out of interest have a high sex drive? Unfortunately I don't mean that in a rude cheeky way, being serious xx I have been told by my Doctor/ Consultant to try and relax.
He has advised me to cut down on any E numbers. But I didn't think I exceed on them. I know i use the excess energy with my boyfriend in other ways if need be no problem lol.
My doctor seems to think I rush to much, like to keep busy and I need to slow down. Does anyone else suffer with anything similar xxx If you do how are you dealing with it?
 
I remember on Keppra I was always tired & space out but extremely anxious. It might be a side-effect of your meds.

What do you mean by E numbers?

Sex drive... When I was on Keppra whatever buttons I had were stuck in the "ON" position. I had very little impulse control. That included eating, sex drive, shopping, typing, or anything else for that matter. I just kept doing it to the extreme. Your boyfriend should love the sex drive thing, but do watch out on other stuff and make sure you catch yourself before you spend $100,000 on the shopping channel. lol...

I hate it when the doctors say that a side effect is really just our personalities, or anxiety. Next time you go see your doc take the package insert, with the side effects of agitation, anxiety and nervousness highlighted.
 
I deffinitly had more energy when i was on generic keppra. I was having trouble even sleeping at night and I was always ready for fun with the DF
