Anybody have or know anyone with seizure alert dogs? I just found out about them and was interested in getting my dog trained. Any information or advice would be appreciated.

It rarely works like that, you can't train a dog to alert, it's a natural ability that the dog must have, not all dogs can alert, kinda like how some people are colorblind. I am one of the lucky ones my dog tried to alert before I even knew I had epilepsy, she became very concerned about me and got my attention and stared into my eyes, she does that when she wants something, that night she had eaten, had lots of water, and didn't want to play or be petted, she just got in my face and stared at me. I've encouraged the behavior since and she's alerted a few times before an aura, gives me a nice heads up.

Well mine barks when I have one..he ran and grabbed my brother once too. I just don't know what kind of other stuff they need to be certified service dogs

They have to provide a skill or task you can't do, alerting is enough to qualify, but they must have EXCELENT public behavior skills.
