Hi there,
Our 13-year-old diagnosed with severe gluten/wheat/yeast allergies two years ago. While we have eliminated this from her diet, she ended up having gluten at a family member's home, was violently ill the whole night before with diarrhea and wasn't able to eat the next day. She had a full seizure at school the following day. Doctors are still trying to determine the cause but I'm wondering if it's because her body went into shock after consuming gluten that she doesn't normally have. We are seeing the pediatrician in a few days and I'd like to have some anecdotal and clinical evidence to share.
Thanks for your help!!
