Hi, all. Yesterday I had a seizure that is different from the others I've had. The bottom line is, has anybody else had super blurry and double vision as an aura? Also rhythmic eye blinking? Does anybody know what part of the brain that would come from? I have temporal lobe epilepsy - but vision problems sounds like it would come from something else?
The seizure: We were sitting in a restaurants and all of the sudden I remember my eyes getting even more/extremely blurry and then double vision. I don't remember the rest. Mom said I was blinking my eyes about once a second. Then she asked if I was okay and I said I was having a seizure and gave a description of it. Then I just sat there for about 30 seconds, didn't move, talk, etc.
Now the rest of it I remember. I was just sitting there and no time had passed as far as I was concerned. My mom asked if I was okay and if I was still having a seizure. I said "no, I didn't have one. my eyes were just blurry. I'm fine" My mom told me that I did have a seizure and she described what she could remember. I asked her what I said when I described it and she didn't remember; she was too upset that I had a seizure at all.
Well, the rest is how it always goes. I needed to curl up and go to sleep so we went straight home. By then I had a headache that turned into a migraine. I was lucky - this one only lasted about 12 hours. Usually it's days.
How odd that I talked and made sense at first. I don't get that.
Another question: I had an SP this morning. It woke me up. It wasn't a fear seizure this time - it was intense fear and anguish. Anguish is a new one for me. Anybody get that?
