How do i know if i am having seizures in my sleep? I have been waking up feeling really tired and vision is disturbed and i feel "swimmy" headed. Also about 3-5 minutes of being awake the headache starts. I have not been officially diagnosed with a seizure disorder yet. I have an eeg scheduled for in the morning. I plan to stay up all night tonight, hoping that will trigger something to happen tomorrow morning.

It can be a nit of a guessing game. But it helps to keep a seizure journal, making note of how you feel on the mornings you think you may have had a nocturnal seizure. For confirmation, you could try setting up a video cam, or you could ask your doctor about having a sleep study/overnight EEG done. I hope your EEG goes well tomorrow.
