Woke up this morning in hospital in a VEEG.
Apparently id had a few bad seizures but I'm not sure how many. My memory is also not too good

It was monday afternoon when I woke so didn't see the neuro or epilepsy nurse. I mustve forgetten when I came in.

Its now Monday night so I'll probably find out more tomorrow when one of the specialist come.

I've felt off and had a migraine all day so whatever happened couldn't have been good

Its been years since I had a bad seizure

Hi CQ,

I'm so sorry to hear that you had a bad seizure. This has happened to me a couple of times when my drug
level got to low and just like you I would get migraines sometimes before the seizure. I know that certain times
of the yr. I have more seizures do to the lack of serotonin but maybe you are the opposite of me which means
to much serotonin caused the seizure. Another thing that could have happened is your body may have gotten
used to the seizure med you are taking. Whatever it is I wish you only the best of luck and May God Bless You.

Sue

I don't remember much or how long I've been here.

All I know is its been ages since I had a seizure and I think a few years since I had to come to the hospital to see any of the specialist eg epilepsy nurse, neuropsych or epiologist

Usually just get meds from my gp from memory 🤷

Currently in for VEEG in the city

Hope you're feel better soon. Epilepsy seems to be like that--you do fine for a while, then suddenly seizures occur again. I often joke that my seizures become "immune" to whichever AED I start taking. Within about a year, I'll start having breakthroughs.

I feel sick and have headache but think I has a seizure earlier

Not sure about seizure though???

Hi CQ,

I'm sorry that you are feeling sick and had another seizure. I know when I had my veeg my neuro. cut back my
AED's on purpose to make me have seizures so they could see what was going on and pinpoint the area of my
brain that was triggering seizures. Just like you I've been having seizures this past week but it was all do to a low
pressure in the weather. I wish you only the best and May God Bless You,

Sue

I had another test earlier (mightve been veeg but not sure) at this hospital and for some reason I came back here.

I can't remember much at all which is frustrating. I have a massive headache and feel sick which is normal

Hi CQ,

I'm sorry to hear that you have a massive headache. You may want to ask your Dr. if your body has gotten
used to the AED's you take. I know that has happened to me and within time they don't work anymore and
depending on your age if it's that time of life sometimes that can either increase or decrease the seizures.
Check into taking the medical marijuana if you want to that has helped reduce my seizures really good.
Wishing you only the best and May God Bless You.

Sue

Thanks Sue
I can't remember much at all
Can't even remember what meds im on but I know the guys here will know

I think they might investigate changing meds anyway

Hi CQ,

If you are serious about changing your meds tell your Dr. to do a DNA test on you and that will show the best
AED for you with the least side effect or the test will show if you are drug resistant like me.
Wishing You only the Best and May God Bless You,

Sue

I never said I wanted to change meds just that the neuros might be thinking about it

My neurologist never foes anything unless he speaks to me fully 1st.
The same would apply if I wanted to changed meds I'd discuss it with the neuro 1st

Once we have agreed with the decision then we will go forward with it

Hope you get your med schedule worked out with a system in place to ensure you don't forget to take it when you should. I hope you feel better soon!

My memory is shot the only time I remember being in here is Thursday onwards

I had a bad seizure the other day and migraines thursday and Friday.
Then headaches but better today

I'm on steroids to help

Talk I won't be able to go home, will be some sort of care or living with someone.

At this stage im here for rest of were but depends on neuro

Hi CQ,

I'm sorry to hear that you had migraines and a seizure on Thursday and Friday. Have you thought about
getting a Epileptologist opinion to find out what's going on. I know I've seen many neuros in my life
but once I started seeing a Epileptologist things got a lot better and I had the least amount of seizures.

I hope you have some family and friends visiting you. I sure know if I lived close by I would come and see you.

I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You,

Sue

There are a couple of epiologist at the hospital I go to, I've seen them both before. I'm not sure if I've seen them before this week but I'm sure I have.
The hospital has a number of neurologists and the epiologists who all work together, usually I see my own neuro but while being in here I've seen a couple. They're all very nice and good

Yes family and friends have been, not sure who visited me before this week.
But since Thursday Ive had my boyfriend, best friend, sister and nephew visit
My sister and nephew are visiting from another state so coming back tomorrow

Hi CQ,

How's it going today? I'm glad to hear that you have family and friends coming to visit you and that you have
seen a Epileptologist. When I had a wada test done that's when my Epileptologist and neurosurgeon found out
what was triggering the seizures. I was amazed. The test isn't painful at all and the Dr. does a video of the test so
they can see in detail what's going on. You take care and I wish you the best. May God Bless You,

Sue
