This morning, my husband was driving me to work (no driving for me until I get whatever's going on under control) and I saw shooting stars. It was kinda like watching the end of a big fireworks explosion where the little remnants of light descend. It lasted for only 5-10 seconds, maybe. This happens to me every once in a while, and I don't know if it's seizure related or if it's just normal and sometimes everyone has this. I'm keeping a journal for my neuro appointment on 10/9, and I'm not really sure to include that or not include it.

I guess I'm kinda at a point where I'm not even sure what's related and what's not. I feel crazy. :dontknow:

It sounds like some of the visual disturbances you can get with migraines and/or simple partials. I used to get something like that from time to time, which I assumed was migraine-related. I never got a headache, but it was still annoying.

Since I started having tonic-clonics, I've never had the visual stuff again, which makes me think it may have been a simple partial rather than migraine. Hard to know for sure, since they are closely related.

Worth mentioning to the doc.

Hmmm. Thank you guys for replying. Nakamova, I had a migraine over last weekend and I feel like one may be coming on again this morning. I don't generally suffer from them except after I have tonic-clonics...so not sure if this is still just leftover weirdness from the last TC or maybe just something normal that everyone gets, like P-Funk said.

I'll put it in the journal just in case, I guess.

i been fighting head today not migrain thank god.i get similar things, heart go into boots when happen cos migrain be in vicinity

Let us know what the neuro says. Now I'm courious...

Oh and good luck at the appointment!

You're not crazy. Some people get the strangest auras, I don't even know where to start anymore. Hang in there and I hope you start feeling better soon.

I'm basically to that point also. I don't believe I have a seizure until someone else tells me I've had a seizure, and just take the rest at face value and try to enjoy the ride.
Don't let the red-light cameras try to fool you!
