This is disturbing, yesterday I was sitting on the bed talking on the phone and all of a sudden I started feeling like I was looking down at everything, the door looked so small, the computer looked like I was holding it in my hand. Then all of a sudden I felt small, it was like a blur. I took Valium and it went away. What is the shrinking and growing? I had this as a kid, but now I'm 30 years old and had it again, very odd sensation. Antone else have this? My Doctor upped the Topamax alot. I hope this feeling goes away!
Thanks.

That sounds like an aura related to TLE. Depending on where the brain gets stimulated all sorts of odd sensations ensue. They've actually found there's a part of the brain that if you stimulate it the person has an "out-of-body" experience, where they can see themselves.

I can remember as a child, and teenager having that. I would look at a person's head and it would be small. Naturally I thought I was weird, and never told anyone until I was older, then I got that - are you a lunatic look.

Hey, Billyboo,

I get this, too. It really does sound like alice in wonderland syndrome. With me the size of stuff can warp, like the TV picture looking FREAKISHLY HUGE, but oddly enough it fits inside the regular TV. It only lasts a couple of minutes at the most, but no matter how often it happens or how long it lasts I just sit there puzzled, trying to figure it out. I have no idea why I don't just think, "it's a seizure" and ignore it. Every time all I can think about is the big thing and all I feel is really, really, puzzled. No room for anything else.

I also have time warp and go realllllllllly slowwwwwwwwww, or speed like riding in the car and thinking we are going about 5mph, and we're really going 50.

This stuff is really weird.
