I had frequent partials before I started meds in Oct and never feel.

Mine are frustrating because they affect my ability to do my job. Mine don't involve any part of my body doing anything (like twitching, etc.) but instead involve my brain refusing to be able to communicate with people for about 20-30 seconds. That's it, but it's enough to really be a problem, because I can't understand the words that are written in front of me, etc. when it happens. And, I'm a software developer, who needs to be able to be analytic and solve problems, communicate, etc. throughout the day.

PCCODER I too am a Programmer and I have had a few but not many of the partial you describe above. Sometimes during that type my left side of my jaw clenches and doesn't want to let go. Usually though my partials involve chewing and salivating but still maintaining consciousness. I also feel like sometimes in meetings I just end up staring into space. I am curious do you find that you have more partials after staring at your screens for long durations? I find that I can only tolerate about 12 minutes of direct focus on the screens before I have to walk away. And yes they are incredibly annoying and disruptive. I had one last Friday in a project status meeting and I don't know if anyone even noticed or if they just didn't say anything to be polite.
Have a blessed day ,

cheers!
