It's been a hard year but having epilepsy has finally sunk in. I'm 43 now and the seizures started 2012 Oct ...
Crashed my truck this weekend due to a seizure + 1 later in the day ... bad bad but made me realize that this is really serious. I have great friends so that is easy but no family support. Losing job at the end of November ... 2013 f'in sucks.

Was on lamictal but after weekend Dr. Changing me to kepra ???

Timmah the thick headed. Been called worse.

Sorry about you crashing the truck and losing your job next month. I hope thinks get better soon.

Hi timmah, welcome to CWE!

I hope you didn't get banged up in the crash. Keppra is a med that you can ramp up on fairly quickly, so that's probably why your doc suggested it. Did he give you any information about what to expect?

Best,
Nakamova
