My very first seizure happened when I was asleep. I was taken to the hospital and put into a coma because they couldn't get the seizures to stop so I really don't know if having seizures during a coma counts as having them in your sleep or not?
Since then the only seizures that I've had have been when I was awake (as far as I know). When my husband and I were sleeping in the same bed I don't think I had any then because I never woke him up. I very rarely have TCs only partials. I do make noises during them sometimes but I don't know if they would wake him up or not if I had one because he is a heavy sleeper.
We had to stop sleeping in the same bed together because I'm a bed hog, he snores very bad and our sleep schedules are different so we'd wake each other up getting in and out of bed.
I've never woke up with a headache (which I usually have after a seizure), on the floor but as I said I rarely have TCs or with the cat on top of me. He usually knows when I've had a seizure and that's what he does.
I was just wondering if anyone has switched from one version to the other?
