I'll start by saying I love my guy! Saturday night around 2am, I left my house walked to the grocery store in nothing but my t-shirt and boxers. I came to standing in the parking lot wondering WTF and trying to remember how to get home. I was freezing it was only 4C out. I was really lucky cuz a young man on his way home found me. Walked me to his place lent me clothes and shoes then walked me home. As for my man, thank god, he was barely fazed by the fact that I randomly showed up at our front door wearing another mans clothes. He cuddled me til I was warm and has been talking me down since it happened. I keep freaking myself out and he keeps bringing me back to balanced. He set chairs in front of both doors as an obstacle. He said if it happens again we'll just get different locks so that I won't be able to open the door in my sleep.
This is still freaking me ALOT but he's doing an amazing job of making me feel normal.

Seizingbeauty,

Oh... it's so scary when that happens. How far away is the store? Are you okay now?

You were really lucky about that guy, and that he was a good person. He so easily could not have been. If it happens again, maybe think about just calling your guy, or going to the store manager? Your guy sounds like a real keeper. :)

There is a possibility that the sleepwalking is actually a complex partial seizure. When I get them it can be day or night. I can have no memory of it. Or, I can have a dream-like memory of it. In that case the only way I know it really happened is because I'm somewhere different than I was before. Or I'm injured.

I put a double-key lock on the front door. It takes a key to open BOTH sides. I keep an extra key in the bottom drawer of a cabinet near the door. Since then, no more outside wandering at night.

There really are good people in the world! Why don't we hear about those in the news instead of all the terrible ones. Cudos to the guy who found you and took care of you and then returned you home! Give him our thanks too! Your honey should be sure to take this guy out for a cold one!!

I've been with Kurt for soon to be 9 years and I'm not letting go anytime soon! When I've said I've picked my family its him and his kin I am refering to. He's been helping me deal since day 1! I've put him through alot and he has always stood by me.
I walked about 7 blocks and crossed some busy streets. It has really frightened me and I'll be bringing it up to my MD tomorrow.
I feel graced by the fact that I came across such a nice man who spoke English. I plan on sending him a card and a gift cerificate.
Your absolutly right Huskymom, I would love it if the news covered more about the good people in this world, might remind some of the others what the right thing to do is.
