Hi all

I just wanted some advice if anyone can help.

For the last three days I have been suffering with a constant smell . The first day it was a strong burning smell and I got lots of peoples opinion and no-one could smell this but me . When I woke up the next day it was gone, which I was incredibly pleased about . Then a few hours later it was back but this time was a really strong smell of just Dirtyness (if that makes any sense). And its still with me now . Its so strong I cannot smell anything else at all despite spraying my home with enough fabric spray to drown in it . It follows me everywhere . I have never had a strong sense of smell and this is now really hurting my nose as I keep sniffing every few seconds .

The thing I was wondering is ...... Could this be the start of something E related ?!?!? I am under a huge amount of stress at the moment so that may not be helping. I am seeing my neurologist tomorrow so am wondering if to tell him about this or if he will just think I am mad ,

Thank you in advance :)

You could be having a simple partial seizure in the form of an olfactory aura, so definitely let your neuro know. (Even if you're not sure, it never hurts to give the neurologist "extra" information.)

I had never heard of this before - but just looked it up and it sounds just like what I am experiencing at the moment . Will be mentioning this to the neuro now for sure

Thank you so much
