I was running yesterday and apparently I'm just going to have to give it up since I have problems every time (and no longer have seizures unless I'm running). I had the weirdest seizure (at least I think it was one). I was in this outdoor public outhouse thing I've used probably a hundred time over the past 15 years, and when I came out, I felt this weird, dissociated sense of not recognizing the place and didn't know which way to go. I felt disoriented in the surrounding and felt this unreal sense. It only lasted a few seconds but was super unsettling and felt like a tonic clonic might be on the way, no idea why I thought that since I've only had one (and no didn't have one). Maybe it was a jamais vu but for 3o years most of cognitive-type seizures have been all deja vus so I can't figure out why I would have such a weird, almost opposite kind of seizure?

simple partial? you can get the Jamais vu feelings with those.

Yes, does sound like a simple partial, even tho it wasn't a deja vu as you're used to having. Seizures can and do change over time.

That most definitely sounds like a simple partial. When I get them it sort of feels like i'm going up or down on an elevator, but I also get the feeling in my head. You should talk to your neurologist (or whoever you see for your epilepsy) about it.

Yes I felt like reality was like changing shape and size somehow, completely impossible to describe! I really hated it, it was almost more like my complex partials if only because it was more intense than my simple partials, which really have never been very strong. I hope I don't have one of those again.

I know what you are talking about! had that happen one time to me like so bad...
