Who needs breakfast? I just line up my pills! I have 2 little dogs. The smallest one is a Chi that I ended up with when my sister couldn't keep him. I never wanted a taco dog, but he grew on me like mold! I now love him with all my heart, and find him to be the most lovable 4lb dog I have ever known-to me, and only me! I see now why they would be on the top 10 most agressive dog list if they were big! He would die for me if he thought anybody was to try to harm me! Anyway poor Mr. Mouse is sick too. He is having congestive heart failure, and takes medicine in the morning and night, just like me. It works out well-I have no problem remembering to give him his. The issue was that I had lined my meds up, and lined his meds -then picked them all up and swallowed them all!!! OOOOPSS!!! I panicked at first, but then thought about it. My dad takes the same stuff for blood pressure, and a diretic. I decided that I weight a lot more than 4 pounds, told my husband that if I got sick to call 911, and than hysterically started laughing! Who takes their dogs medicine, other than somebody on seizure meds!! Obviously I did just fine.:roflmao:

Hello ! Bazpa dear having medicines meant for animals is not good at all. Thank god that u had no side effects but kindly try not to do such blunder again. our bodies are a bit different than the animals' and similarly is the BMR (basal metabolic rate), moreover the quality of products for the pets is sometimes not as good as the medicines prescribed to us. So...................................... although I had a hearty laugh but do not want this laugh again. Take care!

Oh I don't plan on doing it again! I take mine first-then get his out. I just can't help but laugh at it now. I have to go to a regular pharmacy to get his, as they are the same stuff that humans take, and the vet does not always have them. That is how I knew it was the same stuff my dad took, but in a tiny dose. I did really panic at first. It was after I found out I would be fine that it hit me as so funny! I don't recommend it-it could be really bad. I just think the side effects, so far suck so bad. Sometimes I wonder if I just wouldn't rather have the seizures. I would be really tired all the time, and not want to do anything, but as it is, I am so depressed, that I don't want to do any thing anyway. On top of it I cannot concentrate, my memory sucks, my sex drive died, and I am fully aware of it all. This is my 6th medicine, and they have all messed with my thinking. I am loath to try any new one, and when something so stupid makes me laugh, I consider it at least something.

Dear bazpa, despite having so much of problems we have to survive! U know from here comes my name-Survivor. Its really great of u that u try to find humour in lifes' small small things. I really appreciate U! God bless!

I am glad that are okay and that you didn't suffer any side effects. It is kinda funny though! I keep mine in a pill dispenser to keep that from happening. My dog has medications to, and hers a tad different.....one is a steroid and one is to keep her bladder from leaking.....on second thought, the older I get, the second one doesn't sound so bad......

I've come close to doing the same thing, bazpa.

My dogs' medications are next to mine, so I remember to give them theirs, and a couple of times I've looked at what I have in my hands and thought, "Okay, whose are these???" The oldest and I both have multi-coloured capsules, so it takes some thinking! I might wet the bed if I took hers, though...
