Hi Everyone: After watching this past Sunday's '60 Minutes' story about Vincent Van Gogh & his bout with Left Temporal Lobe epilepsy, I wonder what he would think of this site had it been around when he was around?

What would he have thought of the Internet! or TV for that matter...

Hi, Nakamova: I think Van Gogh might be blown away, yet very inspired by today's technology. The most tragic part of Van Gogh's life? He was just looking to befriend someone! While he found a friend in fellow artist Paul Gaugin, they often fought (since Van Gogh had yelling outbursts resulting from his epilepsy) & after a particularly heated argument, Paul Gaugin broke off their friendship. If I had lived during Van Gogh's time, I'd befriend him and his brother Theo.

This is one person's take, but be warned -- it's an unpleasant, cynical one: http://www.thepoke.co.uk/2011/09/30/van-gogh-vs-the-internet/

I prefer yours.

And there's this:
