I haven’t been diagnosed with epilepsy but I’m being tested
I noticed lately I’ve been having these twitchings. It involves contracting/jerking my shoulder and wrist on the same arm and my neck slightly jerking to the side with that shoulder and wrist as well as jerking/squinting with the eye on the same side. They arn't very big jerks at all. But my main concern is, i can't tell if this is just a habit/ im making myself do this or if they may be corresponding to my staring spells (what I’m being diagnosed for).

do people with simple partial seizures often get this too?

Some kinds of epilepsy involve what's called myoclonic jerks or twitches. Let your neurologist know you're having twitches so he can evaluate whether or not they are epilepsy-related.

I must say you do have good questions, even for your age. But Kyla you really need to have a talk with your parents and then see a doctor and neurologist. You have to get diagnosed before you start thinking you have got some thing or trying to put something in a certain category. There can be so many things with similar symptoms. So finding out first is important.
