Today my head doesnt feel attached to my body,so its got me thinking about side effects.I was wondering if staggering the medication would help, like taking my Epillim at 07.30am then my Tegratol at say 08.30am for instance.
Im wondering if this was done instead of the body reciving one massive dose morning/night it would slightly lessen the side effects we suffer.I suppose its really a question for my nuero, but i thought id as has anyone had experience with this, thanks

Sometimes it can help to take the meds with a meal in order to slow absorption. My Lamictal dose is 175mg, so I take 100mg in the morning around 7 or 8am before breakfast, and 75mg at 6pm before dinner. I figure my metabolism is slower at night so it makes sense to take the smaller dose in the evening. But everyone is different -- you may need to do some experimenting to see what helps. You could ask your doctor about switching to an extended release version of your meds -- in theory it's supposed to even out the blood serum levels throughout the day.
