Thai - Geniune Thing Baby! And get this ... hilarious!

Was it not thai because you made it from scratch instead of out of a jar Brain?!

YUMMM Sharon,
THAI food is my absolute favorite...I need some of Speber's drooling Simpson icons. :agree:
If we lived closer, I'd be over for dinner!

Do you make spring rolls? Pad Thai? Cashew nut chicken?...

It's official:
I did something fun today when I got to daydream of Thai food.:pop:

I can make Thai Food, because my ex-MIL and
my ex-BIL are Bangkok Natives. I make them
all from scratch; in fact, I grow lemon grass.

CM knows - she's seen it all over my yard! LOL!
Even had the opportunity to smell it, and I can't
remember, even tasting it?

Yup - all from scratch! I don't like those from a
can or "Americanized" versions (likewise the other
Asian Foods) - it's just not the 'genuine' thing.

;)

In fact, when CM comes by, I may very well make
a batch of that for "us" *grins* and it would be
slurrrrrrrrp, slurrrrrrrrp, slurrrrrrrrrrp!

:roflmao:

And yes, I can make quite a bit of Thai, Korean,
Philippian, Okinawan, Japanese, and Chinese Food.

I am an expert with Spring & Sushi Rolls - either with
Raw Fish or just Veggies alone with genuine Wasabi
if you can handle it! And I do use Thai chili sauce as
well as other seasonings!

;)
---------------

And today - even more funnier thing happened
that had left me wondering about people!

I have no vehicle, and I had a wrecker (Tow
Truck) who came by to "repossess" my car (??)
due to "non-payment" of loan(??) {PS: I never
purchase vehicles on 'loans' in the past, all mine
had been paid for}

Well, he came up and told me, "Mrs. XXXX, where
did you 'hide the car'?" I am standing there totally
at loss! I had to tell him I am not Mrs. XXXX. Oh
man, he did not believe me at all, threatened to
phone the Cops, and then I said, "Would you like
for me to dial their number? I would be more than
delighted to do so!"

I think that shocked him!

So he goes, "Mrs. XXXX, I am not here to play
games. Now you either tell me where you hid the
car, or I will have you under arrest!" I said, "Fine,
then have me under arrest, because I am not Mrs.
XXXX" Then he went to his cell phone and made
a call to his office, and when he did so; apparently
he realized:

1) He was at the wrong residency
2) He was at the wrong location
3) He was at basically at the wrong everywhere

SO what did he do? Apologize to me as:

"I am so sorry Mrs. XXXX for all the trouble..."

ONCE AGAIN, I told him, "I am not Mrs. XXXX"

*sigh*

Sometimes I wonder if people listen, or if there
really is such thing as "holes in ears" where one
really can see the other side if you view one side
of the ear?

:?

:::::::: whoosh :::::::::

Over my head on this one, but he took off and headed
to the right direction, fortunately I had the wrecker's
telephone number and phoned them personally, and
gave them an earful! And would you believe, even they
were very apologetic and called me "Mrs. XXX".

*sigh*

Maybe I should go to the Courthouse and have my
name changes to Mercedes Benz? What do you all
think? It would make me sound rich... Huh?

:ponder:

Did I, I can't remember, is it like normal grass??

I am totally holding you to this one, I can stand very HOT on the tongue so chili it as much as you want.

I'll try one of each of the above please

Sorry, but your above quote suits me when it comes to your lemon grass, I really cannot remember this. :ponder:

Does lemon grass look like your mango tree????? if so, I remember that

I am not in good books at the moment with my Dad after what I done to him last night.

My dad had a tin of liquorice allsorts sitting on his desk, I don't like liquorice, but I decided to help myself anyway, I ate the sweet candy bits on the outside of the liquorice and then placed the liquorice back into the tin. He has been grumbling at me ever since for making the tin and other sweets sticky.

CM,

That reminds me of people who take a bite (or break open) the candies in an "assorted" box of chocolates at Valentines Day (to see if they like the flavor) and then put it back in the box for their spouse to "find." ;)

CM and S4E - this sparks a real fun memory of my Gran....

....she always had a bowl of salted peanuts on the side. One Saturday when everyone was meeting up over there to make sure she was okay, one off my cousins pipes up, with a mouth full off nuts "what type are these, they aren't very salty?!?".

It turns out my Gran, who had no teeth, was picking 'em out, sucking the salt off 'em, and putting 'em back !!!!!!!!!!!!! :roflmao:

:roflmao:

I knew that was coming T's or I thought you were going to say that you sucked the salt off! Good one.

In a way this isn't as funny as it is something I don't want to admit I did. We took the kids are went to a hotel (out of town) for the weekend. Just to relax, do some shopping at stores we don't have here, and to let the kids swim since most of the water here is froze.

It was a last minute choice to leave Friday night, and I thought I had done well getting everything we needed ready and in the van. We were at the hotel, everyone in the jamas, getting ready for bed. I went into the bag to get Kater's meds for her, and found that I hadn't brought her cheese in a can to put her meds on. Crap. What to do... I then had a light bulb go off. I went to the vending machine and bought a small package of vanilla sandwich cookies. Opened the cookies, scraped off the filling, mixed it until it was soft enough so that sprinkle med wouldn't come off, and gave it to Kater.

LOL.....that's more a moment's spur of geniousness

Definitely Fun!

Had my sonogram on Friday. Good bone development,10fingers, 10toes, good spine, cute nose, heart/brain/liver, etc all are at normal measurements, and the baby is 7 oz. :) . The lady doing the sonogram thinks it's a girl (Nothing wiggling in the wind...) . Personally, I'm still hoping that it'll surprise us and be a boy. But whichever it is, I want it healthy. :) My hubby looked like he could have danced. :)

That is great that the baby looks healthy! Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well.
I was told that I was having another girl, and got a surprise when my SON was born. I thought his father was going to pass out when the Dr. said "It's a boy!"

Great news Skilly!!!

I did something fun last weekend. I went sledding and hiking in the snow. (now I am sore all over)

all i got is that I have been having some groin pain, and well my lucky doctor got to go check.. that is for making me wait all those hours.
umbillical hernia and some nerve damage to my boys... that part is not funny

Hey Buckeye! Family went sledding 2 weekends ago...being preggo, and the docs limiting my walking, I wasn't allowed to sled. :( I got to freeze my bunions sitting on a felled tree.
