I am hoping for a better night's sleep tonight

I didn't expect yesterday evening to quite turn out the way it did..

I just read an article about night time boredom. They mentioned that it may be the only ā€œmeā€ time you get during the day.
Not sure thatā€™s my issue, but I do get bored trying to fall asleep.

I don't think that's true

I have so much me time during the day that I often wonder how I get threw said day without being bored.

I'm starting to wonder if that's why I've started to take naps in the afternoon as I simply have nothing to do.

(Also I apparently can't type today)

I think it's to do with struggling to eat breakfast. My hands are still shaking so I'm making a lot of mistakes I'm having to correct

I have plenty of me time as well. Not knowing when it will be could be the issue.

Last night I got a good nightā€™s sleep. As I was falling asleep I reminded myself of my morning plans. (Take the dog and go fishing before anyone woke up.). Especially if I woke up early.
Itā€™s all coming back to a good morning routine.

I didn't get a good sleep last night

I don't know if it was because of the dream from the night before, or if it was something else.

All I know is that I'm meant to be going to church today and I'm currently sat here making no attempt to get ready (I need to shower, dress, do my hair nice, put on perfume). Not sure my heart's in it today honestly. I might.. we'll see how it goes. As I'm writing this it's 6:20 in the morning and church doesn't start until 10:00 so have plenty of time, even to try and get a nice breakfast down me.

I hope you like fishing. It's something I've always wanted to try actually, despite the fact I'm not really an outdoor person

My grandfather used to do it, so..

Hopefully your day has gotten better.

I only caught one small fish yesterday, but that didnā€™t matter. šŸŽ£

I've been taking Xcopri medication in the evening and it knocks me out within 1 to 2 hours every time. Also have a heart beta blocker medication increased just a bit more but that's okay I'm getting my sleep so it's all good as everything has benefits.

I went to bed at 8 PM yesterday, and believe me, that was the earliest I've been to bed since... probably a kid.

I managed to get a headache in the afternoon, and of course said headache decided to get worse as the day went by

I did enjoy church, I think I've mentioned it before on here (or at least I have in my private diary), it's a women's only service so it was really nice to see everyone, do some songs, prayer requests, comunion..

Seizure on the way back, totally freaked out the girl trying to deal with it. When it was over all she kept saying is my god, I don't trust myself with this. what do I do and I'm like I'm here. I'm here and she hugged me and was like oh my god you're okay. I was so scared.

Rest day today I think. I've woken up still with the headache

Well here I am, it's nearly 1am. It's normal for me to be up this late, or even later if I'm able to sleep in. My problem will be going to bed at a reasonable time tomorrow night since I've got to wake up early Tuesday for work. It'll be nice having a short week!

I struggled to get to sleep yesterday.

I know why, because I was feeling hurt/ a little mad about some comments online. It kept playing in my mind time and time again

When I did eventually sleep, I had a nightmare about... well, it was about my old music teacher going around the kids at the end of term giving them their final
reports

She got to me,, bent over me and was like Gina you are the worst kid in the class. Fact

I woke sobbing. Loud sobs as well, because I know she's right. I was useless at music at school. Come to think of it, I was useless at school.

Took me a while to stop sobbing and get myself up

Last night just after 8 PM I had a seizure and laid on my bed to sleep.

Unfortunately, later (at around 10) Someone rang for me and the person I live with, rather than letting me sleep, came in to my room and started patting my arm to wake me up. Apparently I wasn't an easy woman to wake, lost in a dream about being attacked by aliens (which I suppose, when you think about it, is quite scary in itself!

Anyway, I opened my eyes to take the phonecall, and wouldn't you know it didn't get back to sleep for the entire night. I just lay in bed ocasionally moving for comfort. Bored, bored, and did I mention bored!. My god those nights are boring.

Actually slept at NIGHT last night. Now the only issue is the usual; not to sleep all afternoon when my noon sleepiness hits me (meds). Alarm on my watch does no good. It only shakes my wrist for a short time, and I've even turned it off in my sleep, haha. So if I sleep until my Wife comes home, then I'll usually stay up too late and the Night Cycle begins all over again. Wish me luck

I didn't sleep yesterday for some reason.

I don't know.. throat was sore, mostly. That and I guess I just wasn't tired.

Did do a lot of moving around in bed. Actually this morning when I reached my hand across me to get some stuff I needed for the day, I noticed that because of said movements, half the left side of my quilt had come off.

I guess I'm going to do a load of laundry today anyway when Rachel gets up. She's taking me to church later too

Yesterday, when it came to sleep, I was gone as soon as I went to lie down

I had a stomach ache late last night so I wanted to lie on my bed to rest my eyes and try to get rid of it

But I went to sleep pretty much as soon as my head touched the matress (not even the pillow)

I didn't have any dreams either, so it was more relaxed than ones I've been having
Unfortunately I woke up at 2 A.M to find that my computer was still turned on, tv was still turned on (but with the volume muted), and I was still in the clothes I wore yesterday.

I stretched and yawned, mumbled something about Gina being tired, then rolled back over on my side only to find that I couldn't actually get back to sleep.

My left arm feels rather light. It's where I've sat on it no doubt in my sleep

Hey Now!
My sleep has been better šŸ‘
Change to my thyroid medication helped maybe.
One guess also is. No sugar after a certain time. I was having ice cream or something sweet every night.
Anyone tried quitting sugar?

Glad you're sleeping better!
And no, I will never give up sugar. After my most serious vice, alcohol, was given up July 5th 2002, I pretty much refused to give up anything else. Even now, with my COPD/emphysema diagnosis, I haven't given up smoking. I mean, seriously; what's it gonna do, kill me twice? lol
But regarding sugar, All of the sugar in the World would have to be depleted in order for me to give up eating/drinking it, no matter the time of day. Only exceptions are mealtimes (of course, because I don't drink anything whilst eating, the very thought disgusts me) and the two pints of water I have to drink to take with meds in order to avoid digestion issues. Otherwise, I'm drinking Dr Pepper and snacking on Ho Ho's. Anyone trying to get a Ho Ho out of my hand loses use of that arm, everyone knows this, hell even friends of my Wife who have never MET me know this.
EDIT: Forgot to mention the single glass of whole milk nearly every day. I have to have that in order to dip my chocolate chunk cookies into, otherwise they're not cookies at all, they are just bags of cookies that are sitting in the pantry collecting dust. And we can't have THAT, now, can we? lol

I hear you. No need for dusty cookies! šŸ˜
Giving up Beer, was a blessing in disguise for me. I would have been classified as an alcoholic.
I will not be giving up sugar. I will be attempting to reduce my sugar intake after a certain time of night.
Sweet dreams everyone šŸ°

Insomnia again. I think itā€™s sugar. I slept well for a few nights because we didnā€™t get to the store and buy ice cream. Last night I had two bowls of Frosted Flakes a few hours before bed.
