I had three more seizures Easter weekend two of them not bad just absent seizures that seems to be the regular thing for me. But I had a gran mal Saturday night in my sleep scared the hell out of my wife. And then the really bad part is even though the last one was a small one it was on Sunday right in front of my kids and the rest of my family at a bar-b-q not fun my sister took one nurcing class so she likes to tell every one what to do and my Wife has been through it with me so she knows how to handle it. Ant the really shitty part is for some reason I have not been able to sleep good since I don't know it I am maybe in the back of my mind just worried of a repeat of Friday or what.

I was just wondering if there was anyone out there that suffers from two different typs of seizures I don't personally know anyone else that has seizures at all but some people I talk to find it strange( but I do try to be diffrent normal always was a bit boring lol.) thanks for your time.

Hi JWD1439! :hello:

I am so sorry that you have had a rough time lately. I hope it resolves soon. You are not the only one who has different types of seizures. A lot of us here do. Mine are typically nocturnal, but I have had simple partials and jamis vue (spelling not right there). Hang in there. Maybe by knowing you are not alone you will be able to relax somewhat and get some much needed sleep!

Hi Jwd1439,

I've had SP, CP and TC seizures in the past and some of them were in front of my kids when they were still living at home, even the bad TC (grand mal) seizures. The bad thing is their dad is a pilot and at times we were all alone, so my kids were very frightened, thinking their mother was dying. The best thing one can do is educate others about seizures: the different types and what to do, not to do.
