I posted that thread about solar and geomagnetic activity and seizures, but I'm also now wondering if approaching severe weather, thunderstorms in particular, can cause or correct seizures?

Today (Thursday) I had my most severe cluster of seizures yet...probably at least 4 or more seizures today beginning at 3:45am, most of them in the morning hours and early afternoon. It was humid last night and hot and humid all day today.

I felt 'agitated' all afternoon, but I noticed that a wicked thunderstorm this evening (high winds, lightning, thunder) seemed to remove that agitation, at least temporarily? Now that the storm has passed, however, I feel agitated all over again. By 'agitation' I mean I find myself clenching and grinding my teeth (unwillingly) day and night, and I feel restless and can't relax or sleep.

I also noticed tonight what appear to be sores or blisters inside my bottom lip? I thought at first that maybe they were cold sores, but after examining them a little closer, it almost looks as if I chewed the inside of my bottom lip?...the 'sores' or 'blisters' are located precisely where my upper teeth and bottom teeth meet. Do you think I chewed the inside of my bottom lip during these seizures? Actually, I just ran my tongue along the inside of my upper lip, and that feels rough and sore, too?

I had a TC last night. And it was just before a thunderstorm. But it was also the day I started my period, which is a usual trigger for me. So I am assuming it had nothing to do with the weather. But whenever there is going to be a thunderstorm I can feel it. I know it sounds odd or makes me sound old, but I can feel it in my joints, in my ears, and it just smells different outside.

As for the inside of your mouth. Did you recently put something in there that doesn't belong? Like chewing or sucking on a pens, your nails, hair or other things? I got a bout of mouth blister not too long ago and while I was at the dentist I asked about itn and he asked if I have been doing any of those things. I said yes I have been chewing on pens lately. He said stop because of the bacteria eytc. I stopped nad it went away.

I'm like you...I can feel and smell approaching thunderstorms in the air. But to answer your question, no, I don't bite my nails or chew on pens or anything like that. I do (unwillingly) clench and grind my teeth day and night, and the last couple of days I've been clenching like crazy. Unless I think about not clenching, I clench as soon as I stop thinking about it. I also noticed that my tongue has a thick white coating on it? Biotene mouthwash helps considerably, but this thick white coating on my tongue seems to be around a lot when I'm seizuring for some reason?

Do you find thunderstorms relaxing? I know that if I feel like I might have a seizure coming on I'll just lay down and listen to music or take a nap and this will make it go away.

I notice that sometimes tempature changes will bring on a seizure for me, espically if it gets very hot or humid.

I do find thunderstorms very relaxing, if they pass directly over me...as in if it gets windy, dark, and eventually rains some, and a cooler front, a cooler air mass moves through. I don't do well at all with humidity.

thunderstorms

I do find both rain and thunderstorms very relaxing which helps control my seizures. And although I do not consider myself a psychic in anyway, I noticed every since I got epilepsy, when there is some form of front approaching my mind feels different. I get cloudy, kind of stare into space and get electrical impules through the left side of my body in short bursts(which is where my seizures occur), however I do not go into any(tonic-clonic). However, unlike you I do not bite my lips, or anything.
