Tomorrow.... (Wednesday, the 25th) I will be seeing my Dr (at least I hope its him and not the PA) since having my VEEG done March 7th!
Im really eager to hear what they have to say! If they are going to keep me on the Keppra, Im going to ask to go back to Keppra XR. They have me on just the Keppra brand name now, the 500mg tablets and the headaches are just the worse! Im having at least one, if not more a day. The reason my dr switched me over the Keppra XR back in November of last year was due to the headaches.
Today is day 18 of only being on the Keppra, and nothing else! The only thing I have to report is the activity that occured on the 11th day. I had what I think was a simple partial seizure.
I had numbness in my left hand and foot, then came the nauses feeling in my stomach, and followed by a sad feeling. My head then went to my right and I tried to fight it off. Instead of the jerking in my right side, (arm and leg) I tried to fight it, and the numbness went stronger, and went from my hand and foot to my leg, and then upper body, face, etc. Im sure if I wouldnt have tried to fight it off, the jerking and stiffening would have came about. But I wanted to see if I could stop it from coming. The numbness stayed longer than normal, which was the only difference I felt.
So.... tomorrow I will be taking with me all my questions, and concerns and Im praying that I get some good answers!
