For a long time, before I was diagnosed with epilepsy, I always woke up with a massive headache and my whole body felt like it had been hit by a bus. That is quite literally the only way I can describe it...
I go to bed and my whole body feels fine, I wake up in the morning and my whole body feels as stiff as if I had just done a 3 hour workout. It is an absolutely dreadful feeling.
When I was younger I was told a lot by people whose houses I stayed over that I lash out quite a lot in the night, and even my father noticed when I was young and went into my parents bed when I had nightmares.
I have to wait until October to see my neurologist, who right now is as useful as a chocolate kettle, but we are going to contact my GP and ask her to refer us to another hospital with a specialist unit.
Does anyone have Tonic seizures in their sleep? Does this sound anything like one? Sorry for being vague, I'm still getting to grips with all this
