Please tell me I'm not the only fan of star trek here! My absolute favorite has to be Voyager...

omg
i grew up with Star Trek
and i play star trek online everyday.lol
LIVE LONG AND PROSPER

Um......yeah,im with you Starfish, luv Voyager, its just started reruns again over here, they have just been pulled into the Delta Quadrant, brilliant!!! I also like the Borg,"You are about to be assimulated" class, think i should shut up now or im going to come across as a right old geek!!!

Some of my most memorable moments as a child were playing board games with my dad with the original Star Trek playing on the TV in the background. :)

Games like Monopoly, Risk, and Candy Land were so much more intense with William Shatner being all dramatic in the background! :P

My brother is working on getting all the series ones. So far he owns all the voyagers, DS9's, and Enterprise (which I don't really consider Star Trek, I mean it answers a few questions like why the klingons look different from Original to NExt Gen and that stuff but it messes up more things than fixes them.) He also owns all the movies, a new one is suppose to be coming out next year.

I personally am content with just watching them on Netflix.

@neil, love the borg. but I can't watch too many of episodes with that in them because of all the strobe lights. My favorite one with the borg is Unimatrix 0

Starfish dont think ive seen Unimatrix 0,ill look it out though,Voyager starts at 5.00pm over here so i miss a lot off episides because im not home from work, but im catching them at the moment.

I think its great when those big Borg cubes come on screen,"Gasp, its the Borg!!! Go to red alert"lol, brilliant!!!

I grew up with Star Trex - had a crush on Captain Kirk :)
Also liked Lost In Space (original) - had a crush on the robot!
Land Of The Giants gave me nightmares but I'm sure I had a crush on one of the little people!

:)

Yeah I don't get why in a n emergency they decide to turn off all the lights, that just seems very counter productive, you can't SEE anything. I suppose it's for the dramtic effect of film.

Captain Kirk had crush on everything... just saying.

well one grows out of crushes - doesn't one? I still have a soft spot for the robot - we could set up home together
:)

Its so you cant see the walls off the set "wobble" when there is an "explosion"

Do you think Starfleet will accept us folk with epilepsy to serve on a starship when the time comes???

They Better! It's not like there are really any stairs to worry about, and they had better find a cure by then, we wouldn't want someone in an absense seizure to accidentally launch a few torpedoes at a passing vulcan ship. I"m thinking that we'd make much better science officers and engineers. Not so much tactical and weapons... I would fear accidentally blowing something up.

I would never want to be put in charge of the teleporter... I can see how that would go.

Person: "Beam me up!"
Me: "Okay!"
....
Co-Worker: "Where did he go...?"
Me: "I have no idea, I hit the wrong button I think."
*Awkward silence*
Me: "...again..."

I"m not entirely sure why they even have a transporter room, no one is there pretty much all the time, and on a normal star ship there really isn't that much to do. Besides they can control Transporters from ops, and everything is site to site anyway... we'd probably be a fantastic defense against the borg... I can see it now:

Borg: You will be assimilated. Resistence is futile.
Me: I'm not resisiting I'm having a seizure!!!
*Borg tries to hold seizing person down*
*Borg goes flying against a bulk head and is destroyed*
Borg: Resistance is futile, you WILL be assimilated
*Borg tries to inject nano probes Borg is shocked by the electrical activity going on in epileptic's brain, borg's systems are fried*

can you name all of them

He's right next to Sisco in the front.
And there's a problem with this picture... all the red shirts are alive...

I love how, despite all of the aliens, despite all of the random colors and people, despite all the shiny spandex-like clothing, and despite the animals in the bottom corners...

The first thing I noticed in that picture was the crazy hat Whoopi Goldberg wears, towards the top right. :)

I still remember the first episodes on TV. My kids grew up watching the re-runs and then the movies. My oldest son is the biggest fan. For his last birthday I was able to find a rocket (quite rare) of the Enterprise. Of course, it is a collectible so he will only build and not blow-up !!!
