It's been a rough road dealing with the meds and other issues, but I am very thankful for reaching this point -- after undergoing the LTL and having the tumor completely removed, going a few months seizure-free, then dealing with the onset of more mild seizures (trying new meds, etc.), as of today, it is officially two years since my last seizure.

I am so grateful to have become a part of this wonderful group and to have become friends with so many great people. I sincerely wish the best to everyone.

So great to hear it's been 2 years. That certainly is a milestone and great news!

My wife is now 6 months seizure free and she can drive again. SOOOO happy!

congrats! sounds like you're making great progress :) good luck for the future too!

Wooohooo!!!!

Way to go, JosieB!!! Yeah for you!!!:clap::woot::woot:

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Must be something going right there. Keep a written record of what you're doing on a daily basis and make sure you remain consistent with those habits.

Mine have also been controlled for an incredibly long time and it's so hard to believe sometimes. I get into this mindset that the epilepsy is gone because I socialize more with others now, go around when I feel like it and actually have some fun. But I have to constantly remind myself to be faithful with the meds, sleep...all those known factors.

Congrats josieb! 2 years is a great milestone.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words and wishes!!

Our group has been so helpful to me and I will be forever grateful to Bernard for creating such a wonderful site. :)
