Well, its been since November 26th that I havn't taken any more medications for GERD and no Hydroco medication to help with the chest pain (left and center area). I could tell a huge difference when it comes getting more sleep. I thought that the hydroco was suppose to make you drowsy and sleepy, but for me, it was causing me not to sleep at all during the nights. I'd try to fall asleep, and look at the clock every hour, til around 4 am before even getting to sleep.

I thought for sure that the pain in my center chest area, which my primary care dr said is from GERD, would come back even worse after stopping the medication. But Ive been keeping up on ibuprophen and today I havnt taken any at all... and havnt had any pain! The only time I notice a slight discomfort is when I lay down in bed, or happen to bend over to pick something up. Other than that, I havnt noticed any pain at all.

Im scheduled to see the cardiologist on Tuesday, the 6th. Im still keeping that appointment. I feel I'd rather be safe than sorry in that area. I just want to hear that my heart is healthy and nothing bad is going on. Then on December 15th, I see the doctor about the possibibility of having GERD.

But after thinking about all the stress Ive been under the past months, I think some of the pain, I dont want to say all of it, but a big part of it, was caused from stress. If it wasnt medical issues with my husband, it was bills that everyone deals with on a monthly basis... or else my middle son. He's been struggling in school since around september, and since then Ive been dealing with the special education teacher who kept tryign to hold off on testing him. Going back and fourth with her, trying to explain to her, that its my son's dr wanting these tests done, and then having the nurse at the dr's office emailing this lady telling her it was medically necessary to get done.. we finally got this (well I hope we do) on the ball... this lady called us friday saying she will get our son tested and results to us at a meeting on december 12th!

Anyways, Sorry for the rambling... I just wanted to let you all know that Im doing well! I'll update you on how things go with the appointments I have set up in the next couple of weeks!
