Video EEG

I have not been looking forward to this. I am going in on the 18th of this month for my video EEG. Thankfully, this forum has given me an idea of what to expect, so it's not as ominous as it could be.

I am confused and not quite sure what I want them to find during the test. I don't think I could bring myself to have the surgery, but I want to have some kind of an idea of what's going on, and at least have some options.

I don't know how to explain it, but I feel very numb to the entire situation right now.

Ahhhh, yes

I do understand the feeling. I am of the same opinion right now, as the neuro has recently found type number FOUR for me. None of which are operable. But the VEEGs aren't really all that bad......

Perhaps what you want them to find is some sort of definitive type of seizure, so that you know exactly what it is that they might be going for to operate on? If that statement makes any sense at all.....onder:

I do understand the numbness though. In some ways, I am experiencing the same feeling. My neuro is adding on another med, and the beginning titration was not working out.....so we had to back way off, and start all over, so I am frustrated, too on top of it all.

Help..

I think posted in the wrong area and I am not getting any responses. Can one of the admins help me get this into the right area. I am really freaking out about the VEEG and could use some inout.
