This just happened to me today during one of my simple/complex partial seizures.
I was trying to walk forwards to what I was going to choose as my safe zone but my body only allowed me to walk backwards.
Has this happened to anybody else?

HA HA! Guess not! Everyone really is unique and different. This has only happened to me once so far and out of like a thousand seizures I suppose it's not part of pattern or trend yet!

I will have trouble walking a straight line, but never backwards. You must be special :)

Thanks! Absolutely no way I could walk a straight line before or after either!

It is a bit strange -- have you mentioned it to your neuro?

In a somewhat different scenario, when my cousin with Parkinson's can't move forward, he finds it helps to move backwards first (like the bunnyhop), or to dance, or to throw something (like a handkerchief) ahead of him so that he can focus on it.
