There is FINALLY warm weather heading my way! Granted anything above 55 to 60 degrees is considered Hot here in what we call the "Northland" but for me, warm weather is anything over 75. LOL As long as the wind isn't coming off of Lake Superior, when that happens the temp can drop 10-20 degrees almost instantly, even when there's clear skies.

My family once had the opportunity to move to Florida, my Father was offered the job as the commissioner of state, but my sister's and I all said "NO!" We were afraid of the hurricanes LOL

Hurricanes as a possibility or tons of snow and bitterly cold as a certainy.....What where you girls thinking??? :)

It's supposed to be over 100 today :( I'm not bragging....I'm complaining. lol This is my first summer with E and I'm not too sure I'm gonna like it!

huskymom- We already knew how to deal with snow and the freezing cold, but it sucks, long underwear, mittens and hats help, but we, my sisters' and I, were scared of getting hurt in a hurricane, and I'm pretty sure my parents may have felt relief, they probably didn't want to deal with the aftermath of one, or insurance costs lol.

I don't drive, but there have been MANY times where we were going uphill, about 80% of the city is built onto a hill, only to start sliding back down about halfway up, even with 4-wheel drive.

And yes, I do wish we had moved there, I despise the cold, and the snow. My sisters' and I make comments about how we could be living there when it's 20-25 degrees below 0 and blame each other lol.

Cold weather is the worst haha. I totally feel for you not moving to Florida. When I was still in high school I had the option of moving to Texas, but I refused to go. That was a mistake. Just knowing I could be by the beach right now, and not having to ever see snow.
