Before I saw my neuro I was signing in at the desk and talking to the receptionist who I've known for about 5-10 years and she said I didn't look like I had epilepsy.
When she said that I looked at her and said what is someone with epilepsy suppose to look like?
She said it was in there eyes, and she had just heard someone say there life was ruined because they could know longer drive after driving for over 20 years.
I told her it's been 50 yrs for me and I can't miss something I've never had.

She said I don't complain no not to her.But my neuro hears my complaints when I'm szing. I've just accepted the fact that I'm going to shave sz's.

That receptionist needs to take a course in customer relations. She actually said to you to your face that your life was ruined because you could not drive? Really???? I would really take offense at that statement. Especially in a doctors office. They should be more senistive about things like that....

:agree: I work at a family physician's office. You'd be amazed at some of the things I've heard. But then again you'd also be amazed at the amount of people that work reception in the medical field that have no medical background.
So I guess people with epilepsy are supposed to always look beaten down and depressed? I guess I better work on that.
