I just started Keppra today to see if it helps my seizures. My doctor prescribed them she was going too wait until I saw my neurologist, but after my seizures Saturday she decided to try Keppra. She also prescribed me Ativan for when I have seizures really bad. Glad I finalloy have a doctor who listens.
 
Think positive: Here goes something good!

Give your brain and body time to adjust to the Keppra as you ramp up. Take notes on how you feel, and check in here with any questions. Fingers-crossed that you'll start feeling better right away!
 
I feel really tired right now. Like I said I am happy I finally have a doctor who listens to me. She wanted to put me on folic acid, but I can't afford it right now and my insurance won't cover it.
 
You can get folic acid over-the-counter -- it's not that expensive is it?
