Uh Oh. It looks pretty much like I'm a fossil here. I do indeed recognize the names of some of the newer performers and even like some of their music. For instance The Beastie Boys all acoustic album is terrific in my opinion. I will generally listen to anything that isn't yelling and swearing simply for its own sake. I will listen to hard rock, classical, folk, country, Reggae, and even a little opera. But, I do have my favorites. Bob Dylan has always meant the world to me, and he's STILL performing! The first Dylan concert I went to was in 1965 at The Mosque Theater in Newark, NJ. Been infected ever since, but not a 'camp follower' He's just my favorite musician/poet. Then there's Mark Knopfler, Leonard Cohen, Either of the Guthries, Phil Ochs, Harry Chapin, Tom Petty, John Fogerty, Robbie Robertson, John Lennon, George Harrison, and the declared (By real professional music critics) best rock group there ever was; 'The Band'.

You can throw in Frank Zappa and that weird sixties group; 'The Fugs' as well.

Does anybody even remember any of mine?

Yeah, I remember the first time I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan Feb. 9, 1964.
Do you like the Rolling Stones, Small Faces, The Who, Beach Boys?

Does anybody even remember any of mine?

I've been into every one of the groups you've mentioned at one point or another except the Beastie Boys.

Recently I've found this group called "Turtle Island Quartet" that strictly do covers.

Ian 'Mac' McLagan resides just outside Austin.
His new band is pretty cool.

Some old skool Billy Joel. Earlier it was old skool Eagles. In an old skool mood, I guess. :)

You may know the song from the end credits of the Bourne movies.
