I noticed that today at one point there were only two members currently logged into the forum. And I was one of them. It made me really happy to see that everyone has full lives despite seizures, and they aren't just hanging around in here. You go get 'em everybody! Have some FUN!

I'm curious. What did YOU do with your Saturday?

(I'll start off. I bought a new dining room table and went out to lunch, and took my dog to the dog park for a really good run. I did this despite a killer headache, but Ohhhh the energy I have now that I'm on just Lamictal.)

Saturday afternoon I went shopping with my kids for new clothes and shoes. But this was European time so I guess I don't count. ;)

Let's see...
*got some coffee
*made breakfast for the kids
*cleaned up
*went in the sauna and worked out
*took a quick shower and went to pick up TCM herbs for hubby and kids
*did laundry
*checked computer
*juiced veggies for the family
*cleaned up
*made lunch
*cleaned up
*did more laundry
*went shopping for more veggies to juice
*made dinner
*cleaned up
*did more laundry
*checking computer now

I guess I did a lot of cooking and cleaning. Usual day just more people around to take care of.

I'm just sooooo glad I DON'T have to feed the pigs, milk the cows, gather the food, make a fire, haul water, sterilize water, hunt, fish, chop wood, cook 100% from scratch, use the outhouse, scrub laundry in the stream, etc....

Spent the morning cleaning the house. Spent the afternoon watching college football. Spent the evening with family.

my wife and did a craft show in ann arbor mi. did not make a lot of money but had a good time

Hey, Triller! What do you make and sell? Do you have pictures? :)

Saturday

* I cleaned my place & went onto computer for a bit
* I went through my summer clothes.
* Went for a walk down the street to have a look at the shops.
* After I got home, had lunch then had my daily nap

Sunday

* Did my washing & went on the computer for a little bit
* Spent most of the day with a friend
* When I got home I had my daily nap lol

I make soy wax candles and my wife does knitting and crocheting.we have been doing craft shows for about three years.

The grandkids were over in the morning and I spent some time with them. Went to the office for a couple of hours.
Watched my Ohio State Buckeyes beat Illinois in football. (had some beer and hot wings)
Went to my sister's house in the evening for pizza and played cards.

Pretty nice day.

Handyman day: I painted the door to my condo and fixed a chip in the bathtub. Tidied up and vacuumed in anticipation of my brother's arrival yesterday afternoon. Took my brother out for dinner and stayed up late chatting.

Got up early this morning to take bro to the airport. Lucky duck, he's on his way to Monterey, California for a week...

I spent saturday morning looking at flats (apartments) online, then i went to pick up my fella at the train station. We spent a day just spending time together, guitar hero was involved at some point. Then he took me out for steak dinner and then we snuggled on the couch to watch dvds :D

Sunday, i dropped him off at the train station again - he's at Uni in another town - and then headed to work :D

Pretty good weekend. I am a happy Lou :D

Nakamova,

How did you fix the chip in your bathtub??? I've got one too.

I went to the Blue Angels Air Show, at USMC Miramar. Awesome!

Endless, I picked up a little $6.00 kit at the hardware store. It contained two tiny vials, one clear (epoxy of some sort) and one white (probably a filler/paint). I prepped the chipped area by sanding, cleaning, and drying the chip, and then mixed the two vials together, and applied the mixture to the chip area with a tiny brush. Waited for the first coat to dry, then put on a second coat.

It's not perfect (it's whiter than the rest of the tub), but it's more attractive than the black spot that was there before, and less vulnerable to additional chipping...

That was a couple of days ago now, but as I recall, I did laundry, changed sheets on the bed, had lunch, a nap :) watched some recorded tv shows and waited to watch the Irish beat BC. It wasn't a very pretty game, in fact, we looked pretty awful, but we will take it!

rode my bike,
did volunteer work at oktoberfest
and went to a house warming party
unfortunately did have to drive a drunk friend home.

1rst Congrats Daisy Girl

My Saturday was spent visiting Papa in the rehab centre, he's coming along nicely after the hip replacement. We'll be getting him back before Christmas. I also played the new PS3 Move. Its really cool but there is an E warning at the begining. No ill effects so far and way better than the Wii for motion detection.

I think all games come with an E warning nowadays. I'm slightly addicted to guitar hero lol. Also, i want the new PS3 Move, but it's so expensive!
