OK, I know this is a completely frivolous topic, but that's what the lounge is all about, right? Anyhow, I imagine that most of us have some sort of a mental image about what the others here look like, right? Also, since most of us will probably never meet in person, and since most of us don't post pics of ourselves, I thought it might be fun to tell each other what famous person we resemble. It should be someone that we can find on the internet (obviously) and, especially with older people, an idea of what age range of the celeb we are talking about. Make sense? I will go first:

Just for a little background, a couple of months ago my wife and I went to visit our son, and we met some of his co-workers. One of them, a woman in her early thirties, told my son that I reminded her of (drum roll here) Sean Connery (!). Since no one has ever said that, we thought it was kind of strange. Naturally, I didn't mind, because what guy would be insulted by being compared to Sean Connery, right? Anyhow, I went home and looked up images of him, and, by golly, there is a passing resemblance when you look at the movies he made when he was my age (55). Specifically, look at images from "The Name of the Rose". Our hair, or lack thereof, is the same except mine is trimmed a little closer in the back. Also, I have a more relaxed expression, and my nose is a little less pointy, but there actually is a little resemblance there! Even my wife kind of agreed. I mentioned that whole business to one of our friends, and she said, "Oooh, I guess you do look a little like him. Could you do his accent, too?" I thought that was pretty funny!

So, does anyone else want to find a celeb whom they resemble and tell us about it? Give it a whirl. (Of course, if everyone resembles only the hottest of the hot we may get a little suspicious. :) )

My sister told me once that I look like the actor that Plays Dexter in the show Dexter. Does that make me a cereal killer lol?

Years ago I was told I resemble Neil Young. Guess what - he has epilepsy! I always liked Neil especially in the early years and with Crosby, Stills & Nash.

CSNY was a great group. You're showing your age, though, if you remember the early stuff!

When I was in my 20's and 30's people (family included) drove me nuts telling me I looked like Cher. I live in NYC and was even stopped on the street and in restaurants by people who thought I was her until they got up close or heard my voice.

It was the time period from this photo through to around the moonstuck movie:

I do NOT look like this anymore-- but, then again, neither does she.

I don't know of any famous person I look, because my father wasn't famous.

Someone once told me I looked like Renee Zelwieger (spelling? ) Cool :) Then she said, "you know...like when she put on weight to play Bridget Jones." :D I'll take it anyway. :) But my sister says I look like Bonnie Hunt who played Renee Zelwiger's sister in Jerry Maguire. That's probably closer to the truth. And that's okay. Bonnie may not be a glamour puss, but she's attractive in her way and smart and talented to boot. :)

Fun question :)

I seem to be a blank canvas because people have told me I look like all kinds of celebs. Strangers also mistake me for people they know way too often for it to be a coincidence--no, I don't have a doppelganger, I just have that sort of face that can look like a whole lot of people.

I'd have to :( sadly say, i do not think I would be like any famous person. I could come up with a couple I would like to be like... shoot, I can't think of any I would like to be like. Guess I know why :)

Apparently I look like Justin Bartha (aka "Nicholas Cage's right hand man in National Treasure"). I've gotten that many times.
