The majority of my seizures are in my sleep, with the exception of all of the simple partials being during the day and about 20% of my complex partials being during the day. I have myoclonic upon falling asleep and awakening and its a grab-bag while I'm at full sleep. I wander, sort through things, hide objects, mumble to my daughter, and do weird things that I do not remember the next day.
Last night around 2am and again at 4am I was awoken to my full body being stiff as a board and I couldn't breath for a split second. Even my neck was in this weird state. I mean, I was STIFF. I sleep on my stomach and my muscles were so extended I was almost looking at the ceiling both times it happened. My back hurts like I had one heck of a workout at the gym. It lasted only a second and as soon as I woke up in this state it was over. I got my breath and went back to sleep.
I see my neurologist this afternoon to go over my Amb. EEG from 2 weeks ago. Does anyone else get these kind of seizures or know what they are called?
