first car means "YOUR" car - which isn't necessarily the first car you ever drove. which also does not necessitate that you yourself bought it.

I'll start-
drove: I think it was a 1972 Buick Estate Wagon - my dad's car when I was around 16

mine: 1949 Jeep Willys CJ-3A (it was in pretty bad shape, without the original engine). I saw it at a junky used cars type of place and loved it. I don't think it ever actually passed inspection (which it wouldn't have had to if it had the original engine, but it didn't)

"car" includes trucks, motorcycles, etc. any drivers' license type vehicle

my first car was a black 1990 240sx coupe little work done on it, not rare, but just rare enough. was funny. after I totaled it I would see it on the local college campus every now and then.

I wouldn't mind a fairly recent cbr600RR or a rc51 I am as much as I love ducatis or any of the european bikes, finding parts for them make them not cost effective.

The first car I actually owned (bought myself) was a Ford Fiesta. But the first car I actually learned how to drive was a '70 Ford Fairlane.

The first car I ever owned was at age 16 and it was a 1976 yellow VW Bug.

The second car I ever owned was a 1981 baby Blue Camaro in 1982

Dream vehicle - 2002 Harley Road King - it's sitting in the garage with its new paint job and I can't drive it for another six months, at least. So I dream.

My VW Bug (first car of my own) was a stick shift. My Mom showed me how to work it, took me around the block a couple times (small town of 16,000), then I drove around the block my house was on all day practicing. lol I worked for several hours a couple days in a row and finally got it down pat. Didn't think I was ever going to but it happened. :woot:

The first car I ever drove was a (1987-90?) Caprice Classic Wagon.

I took my road test in a 1987 Dodge Aries K-car.

The last car I ever drove was (198?) Lincoln Town car.

I personally never owned a car, truck or motorcycle.


I would like to own a Jeep Wrangler, Dodge Ram, '69 Dodge Charger, classic Harley.

it was my mom's, i learned to drive on it, she was ready for a new one, so i bought it off her (really stubborn that way, if i want something i feel i deserve then i make it happen, which doesn't include someone giving it to me). parent's price tag was 1800 bucks!
lol i was babysitting the following year, the dad in the family backed into it with his new jeep and it was written off
with the insurance money i bought my first car off a lot, age 18, blue eagle summit, what a beauty.

dream car? vw passat, especially a dark grey pewter, which is sitting in my garage and only has five payments left
