What was your favorite cartoon to watch when you were growing up?

I'll start.

Mine was the Bugs Bunny Road Runner Hour.

I could never get enough of those ACME anvils, roller skis, magnets, jet propelled pogo sticks, hammers, jet motors, rocket sleds, instant boulders, instant icicle makers, boomarangs, invisible paint..... you get the idea.

My favorite episode was when Wile E Coyote used a giant acme electrified magnet and accidentally pulled in all the metal in the known universe, pinning him onto the magnet. Ooops. ;)

Can you tell I watched a lot of bugs & the RR?

even though i was a little older when theese first came on , they were my two favs in childhood .... rugrats and hey arnold

I'm with Endless. Nothing as good as a Warner Bros cartoon, I dreamed of being an animator for them when I was a kid. The first time I saw a live roadrunner I was looking for a coyote. That's all folks!

When i was younger it used to be Speedy Gonzalez and then when i was a good bit older Beavis and Butthead, they count right?

I liked good old Donald Duck, especially with the two squirrels making him crazy, in Dutch their names are Knabbel & Babbel, how do you call them in the US?

Tweety teasing Sylvester was cool too.

ooooh i had forgotten about Taz too , another great one ! Man im a dork , im getting way to excited thinking about all theese good ole cartoons

I love those guys, too! Hey, in the U.S. they are named Chip 'N Dale.

I never really had a favorite cartoon show as a kid but liked watching
Inspector Gadget & Scooby Doo.

My Favorite!

JEM!! Even still have the original tape that came with a misfit! Teletoon retro has alot of old 80s shows playing, just made a thread. Hour long Bugs bunny and Tweety everyday!!

You want to know what our favorite cartoon was when growing up? Well, I a 32, and sometimes still don't consider myself grown up! I love my cartoons as much as I did 20 years ago! The Disney afternoon was a favorite for a long time, with Duck Tales, Tail Spin, Dark Wing Duck, Rescue Rangers, Loony Tunes. Prior to that, I had Transformers, GI Joe, She Ra, He Man, Mask. I will always love Tom and Jerry. Mickey Mouse. Gummi Bears has been a favorite for as long as I can remember, but I haven't seen it in a long time. There is always the smurfs, and the snorks (which I have seen recently!!!) Garfield, Inspector gadget, beetle juice (cartoon), punky brewester!!!! VOLTRON. THUNDERCATS. I could go on, I am sure. Oh, and I loved the ones previously mentioned (besides JEM, sorry...) I used to blast the theme song to underdog, that song is AWESOME! Oh, my wife got me into Spongebob, his voice is annoying, but that show can be pretty funny. Anyway, I love cartoons...

Can't beat the old Looney Tunes/Merry Melodies cartoons. Love Bugs and Elmer Fud in their take off on The Barber of Seville:D Bulwinkle's also great!

I also loved the British cartoons Danger Mouse and the vegetarian duck vampire, Ducula! My nieces and nephew got me into Animaniacs (so many great characters!) and Histeria, a cartoon that taught history, but was hilareous.

For those of you who were watching cartoons a lot in the 80's... does anyone remember The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse? It was so clever and sort of a for runner of Ren and Stimpy in its kind of humor. I think it was ahead of its time and was only around about a season. Sooo funny.

My two favorites back in the day would have to be, The Jetsons and Tom and Jerry.

Oh yeah, I loved the Jetsons!

is anyone old enough to remember the "America Rocks" educational cartoons? I was/am very fond of "Conjunction Junction" and all the others in the series.

Tom and Jerry, Robotech, Superfriends, Roadrunner. There are so many odd cartoons I enjoyed but those are at the top of the list.
