Lol so how's Austin? My wife is from there...I have family in San Antonio...I use to live there...once upon a time

Austin is growing unsustainably big.
I think San Antonio managed to handle its growth better than what we are doing.

We are allowing real estate moguls to cash in on our uniqueness.
Our infrastructure is seriously lagging and our traffic jams or becoming ranked among the worst.

If I were retired, and rich, I'd move. Right now, I'm worried that my trailer park will disappear for want of land that needs to be developed.

I was more or less just wanting to know how you felt in general lol but that's okay...Texas is nothing but ewww for me and my wife...here it's a breath of fresh air...well when your out of the valley more so  (mountains or coast take your pic :D)

Olympia, Washington. (an hour south of Seattle). I grew up in southern Maine one hour from Boston. I miss the New England coastline but i love it here.

Janus, are you close to Mt. Rainier?

They say that is the next volcano that they expect to erupt. The weather is better in Olympia, Washington than Maine, I think.

Born in East London (England, UK), still living here. Parents originally from Pakistan.
I have some relatives who are former military. I believe a dead relative of mine used to work with the American embassy.

I was born in Upstate, New York but grew up in Detroit, Michigan. The past 20 years, I was in Northern Virginia near Washington, DC. That's where I met and married my DH. Two years ago we came out to Michigan, and live in the central part of the state. Hi!!
