Look you guys - Please appreciate that this whole exercise is entirely dependant upon you all getting the petition together for Bernard & his "Enforcers" re-instating me, after theyv'e kicked me off site - when all I've been doing is contributing to the health, welfare & language skills of my fellow "CWE-ers"!!

Louisiana here. If I had my druthers I'd be elsewhere, though. I've been all over and lived in a few other places in the US, only here because the hubby dragged me back. The weather, politics, medical, and schools are horrible here :(

Food/culture is great, but that seems to be yet another reason for me to hate it as I'm significantly fluffier since coming back :P

I wanna go to America where its nice and warm and dry and comfortable.
Any takers?!
Col.

Hmmmmm

welll, it's not exactly warm and nice and dry and comfy here at the moment, Col. What on earth gave you THAT idea?

I don't think those four words describe the weather in this state ever, lol.

It's hot as hades and humid for 9 months of the year, being outside feels like being in a miserable sauna. The rest of the year is cold and soggy, no snow so almost equally as miserable. Not to mention the hurricanes and tornadoes, I'm still bitter from Katrina.

To be fair, there are about 6 weeks of the year that feel decent in the spring.

Wherever you are, Meetz, it's gotta be warmer than here at the mo. (And you have no idea where the icicles are hanging from!!).

Anyway - we would always have our love to keep us warm, surely?!!!

Colx

ColemanMac, North Carolina has not been so warm this year. We have already gotten snow; thus telling us it is going to be a LONG winter.

OK, Dragonlady - I'll be around then!!
Col.

If you ever get the chance to plan on Louisiana make it during Mardi Gras. Can't count on the weather but the crazy Cajun culture is worth a visit.

We have had temperatures on Fat Tuesday everywhere from 20 to 90 and everything in between. You might catch snow, might catch a heat wave...but the month long party makes you not care either way

Washington is nice and calm. We had some snow for about a week but its gone now. You are always welcome here to ya know.

And its

-16C for the 2d day running........now of course, this is warmer than a few days ago

Coleman, if it's heat you want then you must come to Florida. We are hot on the oppressive side most of the year, except for a few months in winter when we Floridians, who are acclimated to this heat and humidity, suffer terribly when it gets anywhere below 65°F. We almost had a freeze Tues night and I was out in jacket and fur hat covering the green beans and tomatoes.

currently -31 with the windshield right now, and thats celicios. grrr and brrr.

Nova Scotia, "Canada's Ocean Playground" <-- license plate slogan

Home of The Rankin Family, The worlds highest tides, good pubs, & friendly people :)

Victoria, of British Columbia, Canada! For all you American-ites, Victoria is on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, which is North West of Seattle, Washington.

California here! It's snowy where I am, because I live in the mountains, but it's sunny today. ^_^

Way Out West in Victoria, British Columbia, where whenever I'm going to the mainland, I like to tell friends I'm heading overseas!

Get this... When Hawaii was having a sporting event, our Rugby Team went and beat the crap out of them! It was allowed because Legally, Vancouver Island is an Island in the Pacific Ocean.... Right??? LOL
