If you haven't signed up at whitehouse.gov before it takes a minute or two to sign up. After that it only takes a few seconds to click the green "SIGN THIS PETITION" button for each petition. Maybe if everyone affected by epilepsy would sign these petitions it'd make people take notice that this is a real health issue that needs more attention.

Unfortunately I'm not allowed to post real links, but if you copy and paste the addresses below into your browser it should take you to the right place. Maybe someone with the ability to post links could reply to this thread with the real links?

Here are the links. Thanks for bringing it up! One of President Obama's top advisors, David Axlerod, has a daugher with epilepsy; he and his wife have a website to raise awareness, but I forget what it's called. Anyway, it's important for everyone to be reminded how many people are dealing with E.

That website is CURE: Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy.

Also, here in Colorado November is Epilepsy Awareness Month. So we wear our purple ribbons the month of November to make ourselves be known.

Thanks for posting this! I made an account and signed all of the petitions!

I didn't realize there was a White House epilepsy connection, thanks for sharing.
