Not sure where to post this but I am afraid that if my son gets sick this winter and starts to throw up what do I do? I don't want him throwing up meds. I am thinking about a flu shot but what else should I do?

Best to discuss this with his neurologist. It depends a bit which med your son is on, what the dosage is, and how how often he takes it. Different meds have different absorption rates and half-lives, and there are varying protocols for what to do if a dose is missed or thrown up.
