I know this question has probably been asked but I am curious. When I was younger my seizures changed until I was in my mid 20's. The attacks/seizures (I mean attacks because they feel like I have been ganged up on) are changing again. How do I explain, I am so long with this now I could nearly tell when it was going to happen (if that make sense), the pattern has changed I used to stop breathing somewhere near the end I think (what I was told) but now I can feel myself stopping breathing just before I go into a seizure, the pain and headaches are still there and the rest eg. tiredness, pain in legs and arms everything. But I just know there are changing along with my wife telling me. Has anyone had a similar experience or am I going crazy.

Now that I am hitting 50 things seem to be changing again.

I'm 60 and my seizures have changed 4 diff. times that I can recall.

After joining this forum, I now realize that my hormones played a role.
It's scary when things start Channing, cause don't know how far the changes will go.

Do you think your could be that you need to change meds?

Since our metabolism changes over time (due to aging, genetics, factors in our environments, etc.), that can affect the nature of our seizures and also how the meds work.

it seems reasonable things should change what with hormones etc...Fedup only one thing worse than hitting 50 and that hitting 60

I was kind of hoping that things had settled down so to speak and I knew were I was with this.

jyearta I agree its scary when they change but after this length you would think I would be over scary. I think it was the change in meds that done this.

Nakamova thanks you always have words of wisdom for me, but go easy on the age part please, from an old man.

cazzy I could not agree more with you, I now hate the mention of birthday cards.

Thank you all so much.

Mine changed, but I think it is in relation to the rapid medicine changes. Then again these weren't as bad when I was 16, I think it could be hormones. Possibly structural changes in the brain that might be really slight. I hope things level out for you buddy.

Tony both of us are in much the same boat right now. You keep fighting and mind yourself, thanks for the words.

I am one whose seizures have changed a few times especially menopause and now the past couple years too..when I turned 60.
