So yah, back to the main topc. I caled my docto and he sad the results were in and i can get thm on tusday at 3:30pm. which i am estatic for. Hopeful this will be th eay part where they just tell me there is some sort of deficncy that can cause seiiures.

I'm hopng its somhing easily reveible, because I dont think me or my fince are strng enugh to have this as a life long think *all hil to everone who is strong and almihty in the E world!!! :) *

So your mission -shuld you chse to acept it- is to let me know what deficincys can cause seizures.

time fr bed now. I'l red the in the moning.

Oh yeah

well, for starters, VITAMIN deficiencies can contribute to this. Particularly some of the B vitamins, so it's a good idea to take a B complex vitamin. Mineral deficiencies, too. Check out magnesium as an example....

Here's a list of nutrients that have turned up deficient in folks with seizures:
Magnesium
Selenium
Taurine
L-carnitine
GABA (gamma amino butyric acid)
Vitamin B complex, especially Vitamin B1, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid
Vitamin E
DMG (dimethylglycine)
Pregnenolone

I hope you get the right kind of answers at your appointment tomorrow. Let us know how it goes -- we'll be rooting for you here.

WOWY! sorry about all the mess of spelling and grammatical errors. lol i just re-read that and holy cannoli! i must have been super tired or just rushing and not paying attention

So yes thanks guys, I'm going in with my information and comparing it to my print out. I am going to ask to see if i can take home a copy of the results to research further too. :)

I'm sorry if it offends you Rae but I have to admit I got a kick out of reading your post early this morning before I went to bed.

I was sitting there reading it and giggling and my wife wanted to know what I was laughing about. I told her that normally your a very articulate person and that post was definitely something that came out of a post-ictal state.

Don't feel bad though, my wife has done the same thing. One time she put a tooth brush in a bag and then wrote on the bag "Tooh Brus". Me and her sister got a big kick out of it.

And yes, I really hope you get the answers you're looking for. Take all of your notes and ask any and all questions you have. Hopefully you'll get a good doc like my wife's who answers all the questions without you even having to ask them. The more you know the better off you'll be able to cope and move on. Education is the most important tool for dealing with E.

Yes, darcness, I got such a laugh out of that this morning too! I just dont quite know how that happened. But your right, probably post-ictal. or again tired and rushing. Spelling errors make me mad, and grammar too! just with me though, because i know that i should slow down and re-read before i post. lol

you sure your keyboard is not missing some keys, perhaps?
