Wow! That really reflects a strong ability to bounce back to some normalcy after total chaos. Hope you get much better.

I don't know about you but I have found when you are in such extreme pain and you suddenly discover you can make a new move It tends to go one way or the other with no inbetween from either agony or extasy which for such an insignificant move seems ridiculous but that's it

Well things are obviously going the right way yesterday I had a visit from the physio. Who said there wasn't much he could suggest as I was coming on so well some people he had seen weren't able to get out of bed at the same point I was at and would just leave me for another week

For the past few days I keep going to the bottom of the stairs with my zimmer and stepping up 2 or 3 steps getting some practise I darent go any higher because if my leg colapses I don't fancy falling all the way down the stairs and I don't want anyone to help me as I don't want to wind up dragging them down with me if I fall

yes, don't overdo, be careful as you recover!

Yes I got a mouthful off the wife the day after I got home from hospital for going upstairs and then back down nearly falling down them and taking her with me so I gave up being that stupid and thought I'd leave it at 2 or 3 steps for a few weeks till I can handle them better

Well peoples first of all I'd like to say a big thank you to all of you that have bee concerned with my well being since the accident and although its not over yet today the wife and I went out to thoresby market so that I could join in to do our bird of prey demo and despite being in a lot of pain I was over the moon to be back out doing demos with my birdies

I had to go to fracture clinic today and was asked to get an xray before the clinic when I finally got into clinic I was showed the xray of my pelvis this was the first time I had seen what the surgeons had done and at the base of my spine I had 4 two inch long bolts lower down at the bottom of my pelvis was a piece of metal about 10 inches long bolted back and forth about nine times
But despite all this I think I am doing well I keep being told it could take 6-9 months before I can walk again but so far its been 6 weeks since the accident and I'm spending a lot of time up on a zimmer frame and I have begun sneaking odd steps in without it so I'm hoping to be free of this thing as soon as possible

Great one hit by a transit then six weeks later I've just fallen down the stairs took me about twenty minutes to get up as I wasn't sure if I had done any more damage to my pelvis but hey the rag doll way works again I have only bruised my feet a bit but other than that I'm fine I bounce better than that

Right now its back to the Garth Brooks outlook on life “Gonna live when I'm alive an sleep when I'm dead “ yes I know I've only just escaped the later lol
