I got big scores on the 2x tiles that were lined up in rows/columns, but left the "J" 2x tile on the board this time. Great score, but I was so close to getting my word cross with the "J" too - it would have been awesome.

I got a double 6 letter word cross each with two 2x tiles in them for that best word score. Nearly had the whole board filled with letters while waiting for the final letter to make the cross. This time I chose... wisely.

I totally flubbed this one. When placing the 6th letter to set a double 6 letter cross (with one word using three 2x tiles), I claimed part of letters on one of the words for a double cross using the X tile to take the points while it was there with a difficult tile. The very next set of tiles had the letter I needed for the double cross I had originally set up (but ruined) and I didn't use it (only getting the single word with three 2x tiles) figuring that the letter was very common and I'd see another one after I set up the cross word again. I set up the cross again, but I never got the common connecting letter again.
