what a way to spend my break... in a hospital bed with wires glued to my head. you guys all know the feeling, but honestly? i know its to avoid missing school work but why on my winter break, haha that bothers me a little bit. oh well at least i will get more results. i hope everyone is having a good holiday or winter or snow day or monday or whatever! i celebrate them all haha! oh yeah and one more good thing that comes out of this? i get to study nonstop for my regents and midterms during the veeg so i guess its not the worst thing right? :soap: hha but i do wish i could shower during it all :soap:

Ohhhh... you're whole break. Are they going to withdraw you off your meds? If htey are taking you off your meds your work/study ethic may come and go.

The VEEG isn't so bad, except for the bordom. The hospital where I had mine let me bring laptop/Ipod/mini-dvd, except I couldn't plug them in inside the room (might interfere with electrodes). I had to recharge them in the bathroom. They wouldn't let me use earbuds or earphones, either. There was wireless internet access, so that was nice. And a TV with webtv, movies, and online gaming. I was totally whipped at a game kind of like an updated mario brothers. I think it was a 6-year-old in pediatrics behind the controls, lol....

You may want to take about a half cup of any kind of oil with you to take the glue off your head afterwards. Just massage it into your scalp, especially the little globs of glue (you may need to work on those awhile). You might also want to smuggle in some of your favorite snacks. Canned fruit from the hospital kitchen gets old after awhile. Also take your favorite pillow and a fluffy blanket.

Good luck. If you take your laptop with you, will you write to us while you are in there?

:)

I hope the vEEG goes by quickly. Do you have a window to look out of? Is it snowing there?

that realy heps, thank you. its not snowing yet and it doesn't start until next monday so im not sure about the window. but if thhey stick me in a room with no window, that won't help lol. its supposed to snow next week though. they are keeping me on my meds because they want to witness my nocturnal seizures so thats a good thing. and thanks for the advice endless, i really am glad to have people who have been through all of this before.

Best of luck to you!! I hope something shows up so it won't be a total waste of your break. let us know how you are doing
