I don't really like bothering dr's but this head ache is not going away and it's STRONG..last time i had a head ache like this i ended up in the ER because of a seizure I need to know if this is just a side effect n i should calm down orrrr if im just having a horrible headache n should call the doc.:twocents:

When in doubt, call the doc, especially since you've had the STRONG headache for some time now. And if it's a side effect of a med, the dr. needs to know. BTW, you're NOT bothering the dr.

Try Tylenol (acetaminophen) -- it can help with the "Lamictal headache", which you can experience when tapering on or off...

I would call...a bad migraine is sign of pending seizure for me too. Plus with it being Friday, you could get stuck with whoever at the ER if you wait.

o okay so then this is normal? "lamictal headache" because i thought i was just freakin out ...im just going to lay down im tired i'll just sleep it off.
thanks A BUNCH U GUYS!! if this isn't gone by the time i wake up i'll be calling her.

It can be a common Lamictal side effect, but not everyone experiences it the same way. I had the headache on and off for about a week when transitioning onto Lamictal. (Google "Lamictal headache" if you want to see what different folks report). Do what you can to de-stress and feel better -- but if the headache's unbearable, or you're afraid of having a seizure, definitely check in with the doctor.
