I have recently noticed that when I've had an absence seizure I seem to suffer from a really bad headache which wasn't there before. I had one last Saturday which I couldn't shift and only went away on Sunday morning when I woke up. I feel one coming on now but I had a couple of them on a busy bus home from town earlier.

I was just about to give my seat up but I everything went fuzzy for 30 seconds so I decided not to risk it and I'm glad I didn't now. (although I got some evil looks).

Anyway I was just wondering if it was a common sort of thing.

Hi Booboo982,

Welcome to this forum,

I too have absence seizures. For years I seem to always have a headache. I don't have the headaches or seizures to the degree that they were for many years. I'm guessing it is because I have gone through the change (I'm 60 years old)

Yes i get absence seizures, and boy do i get some headaches along with them to.I have had headaches where i thought my head would explode,so your certainly not alone in that aspect, hope you dont get to many, they are a curse!
