Some days I awake with an upset stomach and feeling not so well. Am I alone? I
will eat little, take my meds and return to bed. Now it's 2:30 PM. I had lunch, took meds and now looking forward to the sunshine outside. Much better. Am I alone.

I use to feel sick to my stomach when I had my migraine attacks. When I lost my lunch I felt a bit better. This is what made me more aware that there is a greater connection between the gut and the brain than doctors want to believe.
I did have one doctor prescribe me some an anti-nausea med. This helped keep the migraine under wraps more often.

I totally agree with you, there is a connection between the gut and brain. I eating less red meat now. chicken meals 4 times a week. Fruits and veggies mostly in an attempt to lower
choles... via diet not more meds.

There is also the consideration of food pairing. What foods should be eaten with what and what foods need to be eaten alone. I know that fruits should be eaten alone, but I will see if I can find the info.

I gave it to my friend once and it helped her son who was having quite a few attacks. It helped him immediately. Might be worth a try.

*** Here is the gist of the plan

- Fats and proteins are eaten together
- carbs may be eaten but they must be eaten with no fats or proteins
- fruits must be eaten alone
- different foods must be eaten 2 hours apart
- no frankenfoods allowed (no sugars, white flour, processed foods etc)

Hosea,
you are not alone. I have had partial seizures all my life and, when younger, I would have bad partial seizures and I always had a stomach ache especially right after the seizure. Try the diet thing. My experiences were many years ago and my partial seizures are different now. Best of luck with the suggestions on the diet. Take care of you.
